- Savannah - Lillian Brown Adams, 88, died October 27, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Emmanuel County, daughter of the late, James and Carrilee Lewis Brown. Mrs. Adams lived most of her life in Savannah. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the Bethel Burton Ladies Group and an avid porcelain artist.

Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Fred Enoch Adams of Savannah; daughter, Frieda Field of Savannah; son, James M. Adams of Atlanta, GA; sister, Betty Hunnicutt of Savannah; grandchildren, Jolie Johnson of Savannah; Lt. Col. Brenton R. Field, III of Gulfport, MS; James "Bo" Adams of Atlanta, GA and six great grandchildren.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2009 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors.
